Indiana Area Senior High School

By INDIA KRUG – Senior Ashlee Graham can be seen walking the hallways of IHS with a smile, if she’s not in FBLA or Yearbook, that is.

The graduating High Arrow member has covered stories such as Spirit Week and the Variety Show, as well as written features for her peers.

A journalism student of both Mr. Nath and Ms. DeStefano, Ashlee has attended multiple newspaper conferences and participated in the curation of the yearbook for three graduating classes. She has also been a member of Student Government Association during her time at IHS.

Throughout her high school career, she has excelled in Future Business Leaders of America. As a three-time States qualifier and Treasurer her junior and senior year, the club has come to mean quite a lot to her.
She plans to pursue a career in business.

Ashlee is known by her friends and classmates as a hard worker with a kind heart. She is a lover of her dogs, Gossip Girl, and coffee. Her biggest piece of advice for high school is to have fun.

The next chapter of her life lies at St. Vincent College, located in Latrobe, where she was accepted on a scholarship and will major in Accounting.

India is a junior and a second year reporter for the High Arrow.  High school journalism is important to her because it is dangerous to be uninformed.  As a part of the High Arrow staff, she is able to grow as a writer while learning from her peers and those in the field.
