High Arrow Staff Spotlight: Ella Barley

 Ella Barley is a freshman and a first-year reporter for the High Arrow. “I joined the High Arrow to write articles for the students and staff of IHS to get information from,” stated Barley. 

Ella’s favorite subject is English, “My favorite subject is probably English because I like reading and writing,” she says. She uses these skills to help her write articles.

She also enjoys playing with her three dogs and four cats and watching some TV shows. Barley commented.“I watch a lot of movies and read books.” Her favorite shows include Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and Dexter. Ella’s favorite color is red.

Ella is also a new member of the Indiana High School tennis team. “I really enjoy tennis and I plan on doing it for the rest of high school.” 

As a first-year reporter, Ella is excited to participate in the High Arrow for this school year and write informative articles. Her articles include Homecoming, Rowdy Rooters, and a spotlight with more to come soon. 

“She’s very kind and has super-good style,” fellow freshman reporter Elia Dietz said, “She writes consistently and well.”
