Score! IHS students play ping-pong during clubs

By CHRISTIAN BROWN

Ping-Pong Club is a club that is exactly what it’s named. Ping-Pong Club lets students at IHS play table tennis together. It is both an A and B club and is one of the largest clubs at IHS.

Members of the club can play ping pong with their friends or meet and play with new people.  Members also have the opportunity to set up tournaments that add a competitive environment to the club.

Sophomore Andrew Grim said “My favorite part about the ping pong club is being with all different people. I can go there and always have a great time and have a lot of fun.”

Everyone in the club is there to play ping pong, so you’re surrounded by a group of people with a common interest. That makes it a fun environment because everyone is there to have fun and play.

Senior Ryan Shaw mentioned, “the best part of ping pong club for me personally is just the fun and energetic environment. I feel that this fun comes from the competitive aspect that my friends and I have. We always play with each other and try to see who’s better, but at the end of the day, we’re all having a good time. This club also does an excellent part at relieving the stress from a long, hard-working week at school.”

Ping pong club is a very positive club.  Everyone in the club is trying to get better at ping pong, and everyone is willing to help each other.

Senior Caleb Campbell commented, “It’s a wonderful environment, it’s very positive, everyone comes here to try and get better at ping pong, and you get to meet new people and new friends.”
